Paredones is a small rural village at the end of Michoacán. Run with poverty and violence their people continue to see and find beauty. The people of Paredones find beauty in faith and on the second friday of every February they walk around their village in order to pray to God and thank him for what he has done for them. Those who walk barefoot do is as an act of pleading and asking.

This has been a tradition since the founding of their village and 2024 marks the 30 year anniversary since they've officially recognized their walk as a religious festival.
